Marketing and Sales Executive – Video Communications - Research and Production

£17 - 18k + OTE

Our Company

We are a market research and video production company. We work with large companies such as BSkyB, BBC, Coca Cola, Nokia, Vodafone, Which? and many others to bring the voice of their customers and consumers alive through the visual medium. We offer many services and methodologies, including voxpops, customer segmentation videos, observational research, in-home depths. We have our own production unit as well as trained interviewers / market researchers / producers who work closely with our clients.

We offer a fabulous opportunity to someone who wants to use a wide range of marketing, PR and sales skills.

The Role

We have a large database and an established emarketing process. We are looking for someone who can manage this for us and the key duties will be:

1. Maintaining database with existing and prospective client details

2. Phoning and arranging meetings / credentials from ‘warm’ leads

3. Getting feedback from clients and companies who didn’t commission a proposal

4. Monitoring webstats and devising specific email and phone campaigns of companies registering and interest/ opening our emails

5. Co-ordinating email campaigns – sending out emails to targeted companies about videos we produce for Brand Republic and Campaign

6. Managing email campaigns for monthly special offers and promotion of methodologies

7. Organising and ensuring that marketing packs for meeting and enquiry purposes.

8. Organising conferences / exhibitions

9. Attending exhibitions

10. Ensuring that all project managers are inputting their contacts into database – making sure that they are tagged appropriately

11. Writing press releases and articles

12. Submitting articles, etc to websites and also trade magazines / consumer press

13. Networking at events

14. Writing proposals, both speculative and responding to enquiries

15. Ordering and organising marketing materials, eg brochures, pens, mousemats

16. Helping with office – including ordering stationery, as and when required.

Your Profile

You will be a confident, articulate person who is looking for a job in marketing and sales.

You need to demonstrate that you have a good awareness and understanding of FMCG, media and the marketing / market research functions. You can expect to be talking to high end professionals and will need to have a professional and consultative sales style. You will be required to show that you are 100% sales focused with a desire to win business, obtain meetings and make lots of commission! Full of determination, the successful candidate will be an instant rapport builder.

You will need good computer and database skills.
