Hall Tests
Hall tests are usually mini depth interviews in a central location, with either pre-recruited consumers or people recruited ‘on the spot’. We use a screener to ensure that the right target group is being interviewed. We normally spend about 30 minutes with each respondent and this allows us to use stimulus material and to really get quite in depth information. This can include filming them using websites, looking at media, etc.
We usually film using 2 cameras, one focused on the respondent, the other covering what they are pointing to and interacting with. At the editing stage we will then intercut between the two camera angles to ensure that the viewer can see what the respondent is discussing.
