Creating content that encourages action

Mind CEO, Paul Farmer and Lord Dennis Stevenson were commissioned by the Prime Minister to write up a report titled Thriving at Work, which looks at the current picture of mental health in the workplace and makes recommendations for employers.

Mind approached us to create an animation to support the launch of this report and increase the reach of their key messages. Their objective was to encourage employers to focus on mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and take steps to implement best practice.

Project Overview

The video communicates a step-by-step process that outlines how employers can review their own mental health & wellbeing policies and gain support to improve these if necessary.

The overall objective for the animation was to communicate this information in a way that would encourage employers to contact Mind, by giving key information surrounding the review and continuing development process offered by Mind.

It was important that the video captured the tone of voice and level of sensitivity required to tackle this challenging topic appropriately. We worked closely with Mind to ensure the script and illustrations were positive and supportive.

The video has been shared on Mind’s website, social media accounts and used in proposals and presentations. It has received significant interest on LinkedIn including over 12.5k views.
