Mobile Diaries allow you to divulge real and authentic feedback from consumers over a longer period of time than conventional video projects. Follow respondents through a journey, process or experience and document their thoughts and feelings at each stage. Obtain an intimate view of consumers’ lives and everyday environments, capturing their day-to-day actions and activities and presenting insights in a genuine and honest way.

Quality over quantity

VPI are a qualitative video research agency and the same goes for our approach to Mobile Diaries. We take the time from the outset of every project to ensure we fully understand your brief, your research objectives and what you want to achieve with the video content. We will then create screeners and recruit candidates that embody your target customers or segments.

Once we have selected your candidates, we spend time interviewing this group over a period of time, moderating and probing through our custom built app to ensure the responses are on-topic and relevant to your objectives. We also give all respondents guidelines on how best to film using their mobile devices.

In terms of final deliverables, we compile the footage by question, theme, location, demographic or any other grouping necessary. We then edit these compilations down, crating one, or a number of polished videos that present key insights, using creative storytelling to highlight findings in a concise and engaging format.
