Vox Pops

Vox pops are open-ended interviews that allow respondents to express their feelings and share their thoughts in an interactive manner. They last approximately 10 minutes each and in our experience during that time we can ask approximately 12 questions.  The way in which they are conducted means that we interview them at their convenience and in their ‘natural’ habitat.

Our client case studies demonstrate how vox pops can be used to engage respondents in a variety of locations:

  • We interviewed young women in Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Thailand and Turkey on their aspirations, their views on beauty and their views on the Sunsilk brand and how it appeals to them.
  • To gain British holiday goer reactions to Three’s ‘Feel at Home’ campaign, we interviewed both Three and non-Three customers in Central Park, Bondi Beach and Stansted Airport, about their thoughts on the mobile network’s offering.
  • Filming on a busy match day at the Boleyn Ground – home to West Ham United Football Club – we interviewed football fans heading to Euro 2016 in France to find out if they were aware of different driving laws in mainland Europe.
